According to the news published by the Wall Street Journal, Musk’s donation will go through a political group called America PAC.
This group is working to intensify the election campaign in swing states, where there is a lot of change of votes before the November elections. The group is being donated by some big voters like former US ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft, crypto investor Taylor and Cameron Winklevoss. Musk is also one of them.
Musk formally supported Trump’s candidacy for the US presidency after Trump survived a shooting incident at an election rally held in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Musk is the richest person in the world. Musk’s net worth is around 2 billion dollars. Musk and Trump’s friendship has increased during the 2024 election campaign.
