One of the greatest philosophy Jesus left to mankind probably has taken the world with storm. The history books, novels, academic and journal books are all covered with very particular reason. One is for self defense and the other is for thinking twice before making tags on the other people.
Comparatively, it’s been used as a mechanism of self-defense. This philosophy was given by Jesus to make world a better place with justice, yet it has also turned world into a bad place, this is not because the philosophy is unwise in itself, but due to it’s misunderstood context and intention.
There are four gospel books in the Bible that gives us the phrase and biography of Jesus. It’s written in Matthews,
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)
This philosophy is liked by all those who prefer self-defense, but when it comes to question of justice, they keep this hallmark at bay.
Jesus gives hint on judgment in just proverb and puzzle, so that it becomes hard for the human to understand, until they keep focus and dig deeper to understand what the above philosophy is all about. He said in Matthew 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”
Swine and pig have the nature of returning to their puke and poop of other creatures. Here, Jesus is referring to natures of some people to that of pigs and dogs when it comes to matter of holiness. faith and kingdom of GOD. Under their feet means control. What will happen when you give authority over things of holiness, faith and Kingdom to piggie and doggie people. They will misuse their dominion and destroy the people who give them power. Hasn’t it been approved by the mafia, religious hypocrites and politicians in your countries. They are destroying you. But why. It’s because you want those people to handle the things of sacred, faith and kingdom.
When it comes to judging the defense strategist only quote the first Matthew 7:1 saying, “Do not Judge. your will be judged.” To make it worse they quote from James and Romans
Romans 2:1-3 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
Now summing up philosophy of Jesus, James and Paul, it’s clear that you need to pass judgments to maintain peace, security, justice, law and order in your country, company, home and every where. From the philosophies put these together to understand:
How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
For at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
To make you understand, let me take you to incident of adulterous woman, who had come to Jesus to take refuge from the people of power in those days. Jesus challenged them, that only the innocent could stone her to death. But everyone, turned back and she was safe. But in reality The LAW condemned all of them. They were all to be executed, both the woman and executors. Why do you think law exist? It law’s job to maintain justice through judgement.
Concerning the disciples, Jesus promised them that they would be Judges passing judgment on 12 tribes of Israel in heaven.
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Mattew 19:28) .
Hello, 12 disciples will be judging in heaven as well with Jesus.
Hello, and Saints will judge the world too.
Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 1 Corinthians 6:2
In order to judge, you must be saints. Saints mean those who live as word of GOD demands and guidance of Spirit and good conscience. So Only Jesus was able to judge to the adulterous woman, forgive her sins and ask her not to repeat it, but live pure and holy life.
Saint necessarily do not mean pastor, leaders, apostles, prophets, preachers, believers, Christians and so on. You may be such but not saints.
Martin Luther wasn’t saint, but Francis was, David wasn’t saint but Jesus was, Apostle Judas the Iscariot was saint but Peter was. In fact, do you remember, when hypocrites came under judgement while they tried to manipulate Peter and rest of the saints with offering.
Hello!
Lord’s people must sound familiar to you. It is plural. “Are you not competent to judge trivial case? But only if you are not the victim of such trivial and serious cases. But only if you have plank of wood meaning bigger crimes than the speck of dust meaning trivial case in the the eyes of culprit, you are not judge, but be judged.
Hello! Hence GOD’s laws teach us who is worthy of judging, provides qualifications to be GOD’s lawyers in the world and the world to come.
Don’t think once you reach to heaven, you will be judging fornicators, when you yourselves were living life of such drudgery and indulgence. You are not qualified. But yes, you will be judged, though salvation is guaranteed, salvation from judgement isn’t escapable to ascertain the rewards, title and positions in the coming world.
Hello! Hello! Hello!
It’s time you wake up now.
We have pigs and dogs-lawyers, advocates, authority, rulers, parliamentarians etc, judging each other of corruption. GOD is saying, be saints, Lord’s people, genuine, innocent, keep your certificates away, focus on worthy life to set standards for justice, then you will be able solve trivial cases. Or else such trivial case will be repeated, pooped, puked making matters worst, just as it is right now in most cases.
It’s not money, but saintly life that guarantees your judgment qualification. It’s not certificates, it’s innocence and integrity that makes you good judge.
Hello, wake up now if you want to be a good judge. The only thing is don’t be quick to judge even if you are saint.
Jesus wasn’t quick, he investigated, encountered, counter attacked, dug deeper reasons. Solomon was wise judge until he was GOD fearing. He wasn’t quick to judge two prostitutes to provide justice to real mother. They both practiced testing and trialing.
And you try to be judge and advocates? Hah! come on, learn something from Jesus.
