Finally restored my life and studio damaged by flood

Finally I have a good news after the massive flood that took over Nepal beginning from September 27, 2024.

On September 28, 2024, while I was still awake at early 5am in the morning, the water started to enter my flat from the near by river flooded with heavy current of waters.

The materials and my properties were shifted to first floor, while water had started entering my flat in the ground floor. I had nothing to do, but to keep on shifting as many goods as possible and thanking GOD simultaneously.

Some of the important things could not be recovered as it was covered by wet muds brought by the flood.

It took at least a week to recover the areas of my flat by cleaning and painting. Then shifting my goods back to my flat.

The flood had a huge impact on my life, and I learnt a lot of lesson through this situation, that helped me to realize the importance of serving the LORD when we are still alive, active and young.

When it comes to the conditions today, I am bit stressed post flood unable to recover interest in my hobbies, works and profession, and that includes my interest in studies as well.

During these periods, GOD showed love through various people who would contact to help me financially for the properties that were damaged, and as a result I was able to reset up my studio of Church Media Nepal Pvt Ltd.

Though the situation look normal outside, I had never thought it would have lasting psychological impact in my life. The battle is on. Leaving behind the past and then moving ahead. Letting go, is best when struggling with emotional upheavals.

Two things that comes in mind to admonish me is that first I am alive and not killed by flood, I am a survivor and the second thing is the experience has drawn me more closer to GOD for the better relationship by staying cautious, awake and attentive through out my life.

The warning of Jesus, “Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant,^[a] whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?  Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.” -Matthew 24:42-47

The verses like this is all over Bible supported with real time events and life from Old Testament to Revelations of the New Testament.

We really do not know the hour. Hour of death and hour of LORD’s second coming.

The natural calamities like the flood is the constant reminder of warning of Jesus for the rest of my life.

Finally I was left to refurnish my rooms with newly brought stuffs from carpets, to painting the goods and furniture. This I have done, but have to wash and clean my other goods made unclean by the muddy flood waters.
