Two Israeli soldiers were killed when a military helicopter crashed during an overnight mission in the Rafah area of the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said on Wednesday.
The Black Hawk helicopter of the Israeli Air Force crashed while taking an injured soldier to the hospital for treatment. Seven other soldiers were injured and were taken out for medical treatment, the army statement said.
“Preliminary investigations have shown that the accident was not due to enemy action,” the statement said. The cause of the incident is being further investigated by a committee appointed by Air Force Commander Tomar Ba
