Mamta Kafle murder case: Naresh had joined the US Army 7 years ago

Naresh Bhatt, who lives in Beldandi rural municipality ward number 2 of Kanchanpur, was in Nepal until 8 years ago. He was working as a Medical Representative (MR) in Dhangadhi, the headquarters of the neighboring district of Kailali. He also had an investment in two medical facilities located in Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi. A family member of Naresh said, ‘Business was going well in Dhangadhi. However, he flew to America on July 14, 1973.’ After reaching America, he worked in a company for some time. 

It did not take long for Naresh, who came to America with the intention of joining the US Army, to fulfill his purpose. He joined the US Army in June 1974, one year after arriving in America. He has given the information through the social network Facebook. Naresh, who was recruited in the US Army, used to visit Nepal from time to time. Now he was working in the IT department of the US Army. 

5 years ago, during his stay in America, Bhatt got acquainted with Mamta Kafle, Kavre’s cousin, through social media. The relationship between the two grew through social media. Naresh and Mamta got married on November 25, 2007. After 8 months of marriage, Mamta also flew to America on July 10, 1978. Almost a year ago, she gave birth to a daughter. Mamta, who turned her love affair into marriage, has been missing since July 16 (July 31). The police have confirmed that her husband Naresh killed her. Naresh has been arrested on the charge of killing Mamta. 

Naresh, who was arrested by the Virginia police on Thursday, was brought to court on Friday. He has been accused of killing Mamata and hiding her body. It is mentioned in the charge sheet submitted by the police that evidence was found that Naresh killed his wife Mamta inside the house on July 30 and dragged the body out after the murder. In the documents submitted to the court, evidence was found that he was murdered in the bedroom of his house and the body was dragged somewhere outside, according to the news organization CNN. As evidence, it is said that blood was found in the bedroom and bathroom.

Prosecutors said that on July 30, Naresh bought three knives and the next day he was found to have bought cleaning materials. It is also said that Naresh tried to destroy many evidences. He was also preparing to sell his house in Manassas Park. Only a few days ago, he sold his Tesla car. He had already prepared the documents to return his daughter to Nepal. Mamta was working as a registered nurse at the University of Virginia’s Prince William Medical Center.

On the other hand, the family and relatives could not believe the news that Naresh was arrested and accused of killing his wife. ‘We are also hearing such news through the media,’ said a relative of Naresh, ‘but we do not believe it. According to our information, there was a good relationship between Mamta and Naresh.
