If defeated this time, I will not stand for election again: Trump

The former President of the United States and candidate for the next presidential election, Donald Trump, has responded that he will not stand up again if he is defeated this time.

Trump has said that if he is defeated in the US presidential election in November, he will not be able to run for the election in 2028.

Trump, 78, has been the Republican Party’s nominee in three consecutive national elections. In an interview, Trump said that if he loses to Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, he does not see the possibility of another race, according to the BBC. But Trump says that he is optimistic that he will succeed.

Under American law, a president cannot serve more than two terms. Trump, a one-term president, was defeated by Joe Biden in the last election. Even now, Kamala Harris is ahead of Trump in many polls.
