Church Media Nepal faced a huge hassle to open a company account despite the fulfilled legal documents. Nabil Bank demanded license media operation issued by Press Council and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
We had really tried hard to convince them of fulfilling the documents necessary to open a company account after depositing required sum in the company account for the government.
Soon they started asking to prepare an application to open a company account stating that further documents would be provided later. The application was written, but soon after they started to make statements as previously and the application was overlooked, though it was there unanimous decision earlier to have a written application.
Upon consulting with some banks, it was informed such hassles were unnecessary for opening company account reasoning company registration and supporting documents were sufficient.
Realising that Church Media Nepal Pvt.Ltd would need a news portal in the future, a wise decision was made to go for the documentation to receive the necessary license from the PCN and MoCIT. The domain Crossmessage.com was created and bought and then website was designed for the news portal.
After all the hassle with documentation, Sanima Bank was chosen instead of Nabil finally helping to take breathe of relief.
